There we were, armed to the teeth with dusters, mops and soap ready to kill all bugs, cobwebs and dust. We worked so hard, smelled like earth and fell to our beds with bodies aching in places I did not even know I had muscle. I still itch after two baths. Never seen so many spiders in one corner.
It was all worth it. Today (27th) we started hanging the curtains and dressing the dining tables in pretty purple and pink. Thea did the needle work and I made the bling to go with the decor.
The boerewors rolls Corne planned on selling was a disaster. The gas nossle for the braai didn't fit, but we still had our first clients.
The most important part is: we had fun!!
